Introducing Zdravko Augustin, participant in the Button Accordion Event 2018. Zdravko was born in a small village on the border of Croatia and Slovenia. He fell in love with Slovenian music as a young boy and specifically any polkas or waltzes played on the button box. He started to play the button box when he was 40 years old and has been playing for over 25 years. For several years he was part of a band called "The Oakville Trio". Zdravko, along with his wife Sue, joined The Niagara Button Boxers, when they formed as a group in 2006. He is thrilled to be asked to participate, along with The Niagara Button Boxers on Aug 4th and 5th at the 2018 Button Akordion Rocks event at Simon Gregorcic Club!
